Spinning, weaving and refining textiles: At Ten Cate they know everything about it. The production process holds no secrets for Ten Cate. That knowledge is in the company's genes. The Ten Cate family started producing textiles in the eastern Netherlands early in the 17th century. Experience, an open mind for new technology and chemistry have brought the group far. The challenge was to expand the existing system, but at the same time fully automate it.
More projectsThe existing pump system ensures that the tent canvases are impregnated. By means of a liquid, 101 Industriële Automatisering has realized that the various liquids are pumped to the machine in question. The existing installation has been expanded and automated with an ET200SP PLC to work as modularly as possible for the various machines. In addition, visualizations have been developed with a Siemens touch panel to make operation as easy as possible for an operator.
